Privacy Policy
Effective
This policy explains how LeveretApps (“we”, “us”) handles information in the Android apps we publish on Google Play under the developer name LeveretApps (“the apps”), on this website, leveret.app, and in the emails you send us. An app may also have its own privacy notice, linked from the app and its Google Play page; where that notice is more specific, it applies to that app.
Summary
- You can use the apps without creating an account or telling us who you are.
- What you record in the apps stays on your device. We never receive it, and it is never passed to third parties or used for ads.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- Some apps use the third-party services listed below to show ads.
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you decide whether ads are personalised, and you can change your choice at any time.
Who we are
LeveretApps is an independent developer of mobile apps based in Ukraine, and the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at support@leveret.app.
Data stored on your device
The apps keep what you record in them, such as your activity, goals, profile details and settings, only on your device. It is never sent to us or to any third party, and it is never used for ads.
Android cloud backup is turned off for the apps, so there is no copy of this data in the cloud: it is deleted for good when you clear an app's data or uninstall the app, and we cannot restore it.
Permissions
Each app asks only for the Android permissions its features need, such as physical activity to count steps, and asks for sensitive ones only when a feature needs them. You can review or revoke permissions at any time in your device settings, and each app's Google Play page lists all of them.
Third-party services
Depending on the app, the apps use the services below. Each provider processes data as described here and in its own privacy information, under its own terms; we do not control how it handles data. The Data safety section of each app's Google Play page shows which data that app collects.
Google AdMob by Google LLC
Shows the ads that fund the app, measures their performance and prevents ad fraud.
Data processed
- Advertising ID and app set ID
- IP address, and approximate location derived from it
- Device and app information, such as model, Android version, language and app version
- Interactions with ads, such as views and taps
- Diagnostic information about ad loading and performance
Legal basis: Your consent for personalised ads where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland); otherwise our legitimate interest in funding the app with ads.
Ads and your choices
Apps with ads are free thanks to ads served by Google AdMob. Ads can be personalised, based on your activity in this and other apps and websites, or non-personalised.
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, an app asks for your consent with Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown. If you decline, you still see ads, but they are not personalised. Your choice is saved on your device, and you can review or change it at any time under Privacy options in the app's settings.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalisation, in your device settings, usually under Privacy → Ads.
- Ads may lead to other websites and apps. Their own privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data.
This website
The website does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. Apart from the analytics script described below, it loads nothing from third parties; even the fonts are served from our own domain.
To understand how the website is used, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint visitors. We see only aggregated statistics, such as page views, referring websites, countries, browser and device types, and page load speed. We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website. See how Cloudflare Web Analytics protects privacy.
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver and protect it, Cloudflare processes technical data about each visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. We do not use this data to identify you. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
When you email us
We receive your email address and the contents of your message, and use them only to reply and to resolve your request, relying on our legitimate interest in answering you. Email to our domain is forwarded by Cloudflare and stored in Google Gmail.
How long data is kept
- Advertising data is kept by Google under its own retention policies.
- Data on your device stays there until you clear the app's data or uninstall it.
- We keep emails as long as needed to handle your request and delete them when you ask, unless the law requires us to keep them or we need them to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. Apart from the service providers described in this policy, we disclose information we hold only when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect our rights, our users or others. If LeveretApps or one of its apps passes to another developer, the information we hold may pass with it, and this policy continues to apply to it.
International transfers
Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. They protect these transfers with legal safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Security
We collect as little as we can, and data the apps and the website send travels over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Data stored on your device is protected by your device's own security, such as its screen lock, which is under your control; we have no access to it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR and the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority; in Ukraine, this is the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.
To exercise these rights, email support@leveret.app with the subject “Privacy request”. We reply within 30 days.
The apps do not ask for your name or email, so we usually cannot link data to you. If we cannot identify the data a request refers to, we will tell you, and we may be unable to act on it. You can also act directly: reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings, clear an app's data, or uninstall an app to stop all data collection by it.
Applicable law
We handle personal data in line with the law that applies to us, including the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and, where they apply, the EU and UK GDPR. Nothing in this policy limits the rights the law gives you. Your use of the apps and the website is also governed by our Terms of Use.
Children
Our apps and this website are not directed at children under 13, or under the minimum age required in your country, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
